Fashion Inspiration: Blue Winter

It's just a couple of weeks before I'm returning back to Seoul and heard it's getting chiller these days. That excites me, really ^^ I love cold weather, and I was praying for a winter in Indonesia back in my childhood. Hahaha.

One thing I got so excited about winter is that'd be the only times I can wear so many stylish coats on the street :-D My winter outfit collections are a lot more than my any other season's outfits.

Expecting that snow will come down a few days after (or even before) my arrival in Seoul, so yesterday, I came up with a look that maybe would work for me during my winter days later there ^^

Watched some Milan and Paris Fashion Week shows last month (Hallelujah to streaming channels!) and it seems like neon colours in blue; yellow; shocking pink; etc; would pretty much be the 'it' colours of SS2013. Although so, been spotting so many cute winter outfit in neon colours this 2012. Never been wrong to do a 'jump start' in fashion ;-) I'm in love with this blue Stella McCartney coat. Wondering if I can get that sweet thing in Seoul...

So, let's see the details of my chosen outfits this time :-)

• Coat is Stella McCartney Blue Wool-Twill Coat
• T-Shirt is JCrew Burn Out Jersey T-Shirt (I'll be damned wearing this t-shirt alone underneath my coat on winter days, but I looooove tha print ^^)
• Pants is JBrand Denim Stretch Cotton Mid-Rise Cropped Pants (it makes my thigh looks smaller ^^)
• Scarf is Kelly Wearstler Ikat Print Silk and Wool Blended Scarf (YES! This scarf is very much inspired by one of Indonesian traditional cloth pattern *proud*)
• Gloves are Karl Abery Studded Leather Gloves
• Bag is Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc Large Leather Tote (Saw Miss Jessica of SNSD carried this bag and I had a lil peek inside for a bit. The bag is officially on my wish list ever since! Jess' bag's colour a bit darker though)
•  Shoes are Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo Patent and Leather Ankle Boots (got trouble with the size of calves this lady here, a big fan of boots but never go further than ankle boots ^^)
• Eyeshadows is Maybelline New York Eye Studio Colour Explosion Shadow in Blue Blowout

Vogue Korea September 2012 Issue: Han Hyo Joo Photo Spread

Just wanna share it with you ladies since I think it's one brilliant fashion ^^ Hanbok must look like this in the future... no more lose hanbok which will make me a woman looks big and trapped inside the clothes. Hahahaha.

It's Han Hyo Joo anyway... she's an actress and I've seen some of her dramas. Good stuffs :-)

Steal The Look: Easy Fall, Easy Lady....

Well, actually ini adalah challenge dari seorang temanku yang merupakan fashion stylist. He asked me to create the look for this fall, the style that I normally wear during fall.

And voila.....

Easy Fall, Easy Lady adalah theme yang aku pilih untuk fall 2012. Hehehe. Easy Lady dalam artian bukan gampangan, lho ya. It represents lady yang gak ribet tapi tetap terlihat classy casual selama musim gugur nanti :-)

Outfit yang aku pilih kali ini adalah Play T-Shirt dari koleksinya Comme des Garcons, outer wear dari koleksinya Michael Kors, dan jeans nya dari Helmut Lang.

I love fall because I can start wearing my sexy boots :-D Untuk pilihan sepatunya aku suka banget sama ankle boots keluaran Versus ini. Kalau kata orang Korea mah Femme Fatale!! Hehehe. Untuk pilihan tas nya sendiri, aku pilih koleksi dari Jerome Dreyfuss. Bentuk tas nya yang besar cocok banget untuk bawa semua 'peralatan perang' dari mulai jam kerja sampai waktu hang out bareng teman-teman :-)

Fall is all about ground colour... tapi gak dosa untuk kasih sedikit warna ;-) Sedikit warna merah yang playfull udah ter-represent di t-shirt Comme des Garcon, dan biar tambah cerah, blush on dengan warna pink merona bisa digunakan. Pilihanku adalah Guerlain Rose Aux Joues Blush Duo (kepengen banget beli iniiii!!!). Untuk kuku... kalau waktu ada kesempatan untuk bisa gaya dengan nail polish, aku biasanya lebih suka warna nude untuk kuku. Kebetulan banget warna nude ini lagi lumayan trend di Korea dan kayaknya cocok untuk fall ^^ Revlon Sheer Nude 004 will be a perfect choice ^^

This kind of look sebetulnya sih my kind of look kalau lagi ngantor di Seoul. Going to the office wearing t-shirt and jeans? Hehehe... di Seoul anything can be worn as working outfit! Pakai rok mini atau hot pants pun tidak masalah :-D 

Outfit semacam ini bisa jadi 'double-player', dimana kamu bisa pakai ini untuk kerja tapi masih kelihatan enak dilihat waktu hang out setelah jam kerja.

Steal The Look: Snow White

Judulnya gak appealing banget ya? Hehehe. How're you, ladies? Holiday season gak ngapa-ngapain jadinya cuma nonton DVD aja dirumah. Salah satu DVD yang aku tonton baru-baru ini adalah "Mirror Mirror". Gara-gara film ini aku dan DocCii jadi pengen banget lipstick merah gonjreng ala Snow White gitu :-D

I don't wanna tell you about the story but it's a spin off of the original version of classic Snow White story. A bit crappy, I must say :-D Tapi... forget the story. I love the clothes!!!!! Designer dari kostum dalam film "Mirror Mirror" adalah Eiko Ishioka and they're all fabs!!!!

I would die to be able wearing that kind of coat in Seoul's street on winter days :-D Love the bow and the fluff... and most important: I love the colour!! Now you know that yellow is my favourite colour ;-)

Gara-gara nonton film itu, aku jadi terinspirasi untuk create satu look yang menyerupai snow white. I haven't got all the outfits as well as the cosmetics I have in mind to create the look, but I did browse some stuffs which I think would be perfect for this style :-)

Kalau digabungin sih kira-kira begini. Warnanya udah khas Snow White banget, kan? ;-) Kalau kata DocCii, ini lebih mirip dandan ala bendera Swedia daripada Snow White. Hahahaha.

Untuk details, mari kita ulik satu persatu-satu what it takes to have my version of Snow White Look (which I title "The Preppy Snow White").

Ini blouse yang aku temuin gak sengaja di sebuah online shop di facebook. Waktu pertama kali niat bikin post ini, aku udah mikir aku harus browse blouse warna biru. Tapiiiii.... dari semua website yang aku datangi, dari yang high end brand sampai yang cupu brand, gak ada blouse yang sesuai imajinasi aku. Baru pas dua malam lalu, buka facebook dan langsung liat gambar blouse ini di timeline^^ 

What I like the most about the blouse adalah ruffle yang ada dibagian pundak. Mirip-mirip sama ide nya Eiko Ishioka di kostum film 'Mirror Mirror'. Kalau kamu tertarik, kamu bisa langung datangi Rachel Collections di facebook. Aku belum pernah belanja di shop ini dan sepertinya kebanyakan barang mereka harus sistem Pre Order aka PO. Oh iya, kalau gak salah, blouse ini harganya cuma sekitar IDR 150.000,-

Rok nya cantik ya? Menurut website dimana aku lihat gambar ini, rok ini merupakan koleksi salah satu brand yang ada di Marui One. Ada yang tau Marui One? Marui One dulu sempat ngetop sebagai salah satu online shopping website asal Jepang yang menawarkan banyak koleksi chic untuk wanita. Tahun 2011 lalu online shopping website Marui One resmi ditutup. Tapi kita masih bisa belanja barang-barang yang dulu ditawarkan di website secara langsung di shopping mall Marui One di Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Harga rok ini sekitar USD 52 atau kurang lebih IDR 500.000,-.

Christian Louboutin Lillian Mary Jane Platform Pumps. Cakeeeeeep gak siiiiiiih???? *histeris nanyanya* Hehehehe. Aku lagi ngincer banget sepatu ini!!! Di Snow White classic, si Snow White kan pakai sepatu model Mary Jane. Nah, karena Snow White versi imajinasi aku agak-agak flirty gimanaaaaa gitu, jadinya Mary Jane shoes nya harus yang tipe sexy gini :-D Anyway, Mrs. Beckham punya dan pernah pakai sepatu ini lho ;-) Selain Victoria Beckham, aku uga pernah lihat Madonna dan Blake Lively memakai sepatu ini *tambah ngiler pengen punya juga* 

Kalau gak salah, harga retail sepatu ini sekitar USD 995 dan gossip nya sepatu ini lagi sold out... Mumsky must be so happy to hear that :-(

Nah... kalau ini cuma buat statement aja... menegaskan kalau kamu lagi pakai Snow White Look, bukan bendera Swedia berjalan ^^ Kalung apel yang looking so fresh karena perpaduan warna merah dan hijau. Kalung ini bisa dipesan  di online shop nya DocCii ^^ Harganya cuma IDR 30.000,- 

(NOTE: Agak maksa untuk kalung apel ini sebetulnya, dipaksa sama DocCii disuruh masukin ke post aku yang ini >_<)

Satu lagi items yang merupakan personal wish list aku (dan DocCii juga) disini ^^ Rouge Coco Shine in Rebel (63). Warnanya kayaknya striking banget dan ciri khas Snow White banget dengan bibirnya yang merah merona. Lagi kepengen banget beli ini, mudah-mudahan nanti tanggal 30 pas assignment ke Singapore aku sempet mampir beli lipstick ini :-)

Aku punya lipstick ini tapi dengan shades berbeda (mau direview tapi tampilannya udah jelek baget :-D). Lupa sih berapa harga pasti nya, tapi kalau gak salah di kisaran IDR 320.000 - IDR 350.000,-

Beulah London ~ ini brand, bukan bahasa Sunda ^^

Hallo ^^ Apa kabar semuanya?? Sehat-sehat aja kan? Kalau kurang sehat, silahkan minta resep gratis sama DocCii. Hehe

By the way, dari kemarin tuh aku lagi overwhelmed karena baru ketemuan sama teman yang konon katanya punya kenalan tukang jahit yang super diva! Tinggal kasih tunjuk satu gambar dan bawain bahannya, jreng jreng jreng…. jadi aja baju yang kita mau. Persis markisis sama gambar yang kita bawain. Upahnya murah pula. Sumpah pulang ketemuan sama temanku itu aku langsung panas dingin gak sabar buka google nyari baju McQueen yang dipakai Catherine Middleton Duchess of Cambridge waktu acara golden jubilee kemarin. *DISCLAIMER: Perbuatan ini sebetulnya tidak patut dicontoh, tapi apa daya kepengen gaya tapi budget tak ada. Hehehe*

Nah.. pada waktu cari-cari gambarnya si Duchess yang full body waktu pakai baju yang aku inginkan, aku justru menemukan satu gambar sang calon ratu itu berdiri disamping suaminya menggunakan gaun yang gak kalah cantiknya dengan gaun yang dipakainya waktu golden jubilee kemarin. Karena penasaran, akhirnya 2 jam aku heboh sendirian cari-cari siapa designer yang merancang gaun itu.

Daaaaan… mata aku melotot aja begitu tau siapa designer dan harga gaun yang dipakai sama istrinya Prince William itu!!! She wore ‘Sarai’ dress by Beulah London dan harganya cuma 565 GBP atau sekitar IDR 8.475.000.

Menurut aku, harga segitu termasuk murah untuk outfit yang dipakai seorang calon Ratu Inggris ^^

Tapi setelah mendatangi website Beulah London, aku jadi kepikiran mungkin si Duchess Catherine ini waktu itu sedang meng-endorse campaign dari pemilik Beulah London yang memberdayakan perempuan di daerah miskin di India.

Jadi ceritanya Beulah London dimiliki oleh dua orang wanita muda Inggris keturunan India yang berusaha untuk membebaskan wanita di daerah-daerah kumuh India dari jajahan kemiskinan dan penyakit AIDS. Mereka mempekerjakan wanita-wanita dari daerah kumuh supaya wanita-wanita itu tidak mencari nafkah dengan menjajakan tubuh mereka dijalanan.

Di website itu, kita juga bisa belanja online. Aku sih sekarang sedang gak sanggup untuk beli Sarai Dress yang dipakai Duchess Catherine… tapi masih banyak pilihan barang lain yang harganya masih masuk akal. Masih ada dress yang harganya di kisaran 100 – 130 GBP and they’re looking lovely. Kalau ada yang kebetulan lagi main di Inggris, product Beulah London juga bisa ditemukan di store nya Harbey Nichols di Great Britain.

Tapi berhubung aku juga lagi gak ada budget, even untuk dress yang harganya segitu itu… akhirnya aku beli eco bag mereka yang harganya cuma 10 GBP. Supaya ongkos kirimnya murah, aku pakai alamat teman di London dan setelah barangnya sampai nanti temanku yang akan kirim ke tempatku… gratis :-p

Selain koleksi dress, Beulah London juga ada koleksi scarf yang kayaknya motifnya akan beda-beda di tiap season. Mereka juga punya section “Wedding” yang lumayan komplit baik untuk bride-to-be sampai wedding guests nya ^^

Yang pasti sih, kalau kamu lagi ada budget dan belanja di web itu… sekalian belanja kamu juga bisa sekalian beramal. Udah cantik, berpahala lagi. Hehehe. Makin panjang aja deh antrian cowok-cowok yang mau ngelamar ke rumah :-p

Anyway, back to my story…. Akhirnya aku putuskan untuk tetap membajak gaun yang McQueen aja. Sudah dapat gambarnya… tinggal besok mungkin mau jalan sama Mumsky ke pasar Mayestik atau Pasar Baru untuk cari bahannya. Hehehehe.
